nyumba (Swahili) - [ny•um•ba] noun - house (English)
Nyumba is our house blend — the everyday cup we drink ourselves. It's built for the moments when you want coffee that simply works: smooth enough to drink black, rich enough to hold its own against milk, and consistent from the first cup of the morning to the last shot of the afternoon. If you're new to specialty coffee, this is where to start.
The beans come from two of the world's most respected coffee origins: Guatemala's Antigua Valley, where volcanic soils and the shade of three towering volcanoes produce beans with depth and complexity, and Brazil's Cerrado region in Minas Gerais, where high-plateau farms yield the sweet, chocolate-forward beans that give Nyumba its signature body. We roast to a balanced medium that brings out the best of both — pecan, toffee, and a clean milk chocolate finish.

How to brew it. Nyumba shines as an espresso, where its caramel sweetness builds a beautiful crema, and it's equally at home in a flat white or Americano. For filter brewing or French press, our ground-for-cafetière option delivers a clean, chocolate-rich cup. Available in whole bean and four grind sizes, in 250g, 500g, and 1kg.
